    • Luzmila Carpio takes us to her roots and community in the Andean landscape of native Bolivia.
Luzmila sings with the birds, she speaks to them and listens to them; she speaks with her land, with the rivers, she sings to the sun and the moon. Her songs speak about identity, the struggles of her people, spirituality, respect for the environment, and the need to strive for a more just future in harmony with our planet. This documentary is a dive into the depths of Luzmila's land, memories, and struggles -- into the heart of her country that connects her artistry with a language that is global, enduring and seeking truths.
