- Synopsis
- Lourdes is a small town in the south of France where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous 160 years ago. Now it is a place where thousands of pilgrims from all over the world gather every day in the hope of a miracle. They caress the cave of Lourdes and share their dreams, hopes and sorrows. French filmmakers Thierry Demaizière and Alban Teurlai follow a number of pilgrims on their annual journey to the famous pilgrimage site, listening to their whispered prayers and their ordeal-marked lives.
