    • Synopsis
    • The sun is shining on a packed beach somewhere in Romania in the early 1990s. The Soviet Union has collapsed, and we are on the threshold of a new era. Over the radio, a child lost from his parents is called for. Then another child. And one more. For Alina Manolache, they form a picture of her generation, born after the end of Ceaușescu's dictatorship in 1990 and raised in a post-communist world. She sets off on a roadtrip to talk to them, and she, among other things, meets a disillusioned police officer, a proud stripper and a young farmer whose biggest fear is being thrown out of the EU. A multicoloured and sympathetic portrait of a generation stuck between two worlds.
