- Local Heroes follows the coming-of-age adventures and dramas of six super-powered teenagers as they navigate life as adolescents. One day you're locked in a slugfest with a giant robot, the next you're foiling the evil plans of a secret society bent on taking over the world. Now try balancing all of that with the rollercoaster highs and lows of high school life. Like most late-teens, Jada is doing her best to finish off high school and get into the college of her choice. Unlike most late-teens, Jada must also balance her life with her new superpowers and the responsibility they come with. Why is it easier to fight a crazed cloned super-agent than her own insecurities? How can she make the popular girl notice her? Like her super-powered friends, it isn't easy being a super hero teenager who doesn't feel so super.
