    • Synopsis
    • Marcel Marx, who is pushing 60, is a shoeshine boy in Le Havre. He leads a poor but dignified life with his wife, who hides a disturbing illness from him. In the harbor, Marcel chances on a stowaway child hiding in a container that arrived from Africa.
