    • Synopsis
    • Lantouri is the name of a gang of extortionist/ thieves/blackmailers in Tehran. Pasha, a member of the gang, falls in love with Maryam, a social activist/journalist who has started a campaign, "No to Violence" and she tries to convince the families of the crime victims, to forgive the murderers of their dear ones. Maryam rejects Pasha's love and Pasha splashes acid on Maryam's face and she loses her sight. Now, Maryam asks for “Qesas” (lex talionis) and requests “eye for eye” punishment according to the Islamic Punitive Laws.
