    • Synopsis
    • Lalo Padilla and Álvaro Luquín are film school dropouts who write poetry and fiction
      and swing unpredictably from brilliance to mental impairment. Equipped with a
      camera and a sound recorder they stumble their way through Baja while attempting
      to write a script based on Lalo’s vague childhood memories of traveling the land with
      his mother selling maps to American tourists. With a mutating backdrop made of
      deserts, oases, desolate beaches, volcanoes, dunes and seas, they will test their fragile
      friendship and let loose their fears, manias and mental problems as they randomly
      meet characters no less twisted than them.
