    • Lala, the mischievous prince of Fairyland is in trouble again: he left the boundaries of the island kingdom. It will be his task to appoint the next ruler when the Wondrous Fig Tree awakens, and his mother Queen Iris is desperate for Lala to finally come to his senses. Bee, a 12-year girl, recently lost her mother to an illness. Her heart is crushed with grief. In an attempt to heal her, her father takes Bee to the small island in the sea, a place they used to visit together as a family. But unknown to them, the island hides a gateway to Fairyland. While humans cannot enter the kingdom, the fairies, taking the form of dogs, do sometimes visit humans. And so it is that during the brief trip Bee makes an unexpected friend, Lala, who sneaked through the gate against the will of her mother. Fairyland is seemingly paradise itself where everyone is always happy and satisfied. But Grand wizard Aterpater is blackmailing Lala’s mother into marriage with a secret, determined to have himself crowned King. Lala and his new human friend Bee face the greatest challenge of their lives. They must right the wrongs and defeat the cruel sorcerer Aterpater. And the only way to do this is with clear, strong hearts.
