- From the western world to the DR Congo, an encounter between two widely separated beings. The only connection between them is their love of the earth.
  
  La Terre, des Hommes (The Earth, and Men) is a collection of 26-minute films. In each episode, a Belgian farmer (or a forester, a breeder, a water manager) meets with a Congolese practicing the same job yet with different means. La Terre, des Hommes gives the floor to men and women, in Europe as in Congo, who earn their living with passion and sometimes difficulty. We see that beyond customs and traditions, they are preoccupied with the same issues and are driven by the same desire to communicate and learn.
