    • Synopsis
    • In a little rural town in Paraguay lives Virgilia, a young street vendor who is in love with Walter, her closest childhood friend, who also happens to work by the road at the toll opposite her post. Juanita, her best friend, who lives daydreaming about her new soap opera, advices her to confess her love to Walter but Virgilia fears she will loose his friend if she does. Candelaria, Virgilia’s mother is worried because Anselmo, her son, who sends monthly remittances from Spain, loses contact with the family and this leaves them in a dire economic state. Now, Virgilia has to face her reality, leaving behind the illusion of her platonic love to support her family with no help but her own.
