    • Synopsis
    • For Yilmar Leandro González, a young Afro-Colombian boxer and gardener in his neighborhood cementery, life takes place among contrasts: with the same hands that he uses to punch his competitors in the ring, he nurtures the life that grows amid the graves. In his sport he has won the national championship and other prizes, and is considered a bright hope in his region and the country. Every day after practice he takes off his gloves and turns into the gardener of the cemetery in his neighborhood of Siloé in Cali, where his alcoholic mother and siblings live. The big fight is drawing closer, and Yilmar is about to change his destiny. He does not fear death, he fears defeat and oblivion. This is the story of a man who decides to fight for his future and that of his community, even at the cost of his own happiness.
