- Synopsis
- Ulrik Torp (50) was once an aspiring young journalist, but years later after a round of layoffs and a period on welfare, he ends up in an internship at his former workplace, Dagbladet. His old colleague and now editor-in-chief, Henrik Moll, asks Torp to cover a murder of a young clerk at the Ministry of the Interior. Torp must navigate a new media reality controlled by clickbaits and the echo chambers of social media. Together with two young interns, Torp sets out to uncover a small circle of former politicians and top civil servants who spare no effort to ensure that power remains in the right hands. With the very future of Danish democracy in peril, it falls to Torp to act against the conspiracy.
