Massimo is the owner of a crumbling bed and breakfast with too few clients to host and too many taxes to pay.
To make his business survive, he has a brilliant idea: he needs to turn the bed and breakfast into a sacred place of worship in which he can welcome and accommodate his "believers" tax free, just receiving a "generous" donation from them. But in order to do that, he must first found his own religion. Here comes the ............ Get ready to convert!

- Synopsis
- Massimo Alberti (Edoardo Leo) è il proprietario del “Miracolo Italiano”, bed and breakfast un tempo di lusso ridotto ormai a una fatiscente palazzina.
  La crisi che ha messo in ginocchio la sua attività sembra non aver toccato i suoi vicini, un convento gestito da suore sempre pieno di turisti a cui le pie donne offrono rifugio in cambio di una spontanea donazione. Esentasse.
  Massimo ha un’illuminazione: per sopravvivere deve trasformare il “Miracolo Italiano” in luogo di culto. E per farlo, deve fondare una sua religione.
  Nasce così lo “Ionismo”, la prima fede che mette l’IO al centro dell’universo. Ad accompagnare Massimo nella sua missione verso l'assoluzione da tasse e contributi, la sorella Adriana (Margherita Buy), irreprensibile commercialista, e Marco (Giuseppe Battiston), scrittore senza lettori e ideologo perfetto del nuovo credo.
