- Synopsis
- 20 years ago, an Awajun shaman dies during an Ayahuasca ritual; Sargent Matos killed him accidentally during a battle. The shaman’s protecting jaguar spirit leaves his body and jumps onto the newborn child, causing feline traits all over her body. Anthropologist Klein and his teenage son Marcos witness this incident.
  
  Nowadays, a female jaguar and its poppy are captured and brought to the city. Criminal wildlife traders separate the poppy from its mother in order to sell it abroad, whereas the mother is taken to the zoo.
  
  Short after, a dead body is found in the zoo. Detective Matos and Lt. Huarcaya are in charge of resolving their most enigmatic case.
  
  At the same time, an injured woman with feline spots all over her body is brought to the hospital. Zoologist Klein attributes it to existing zoanthropy among the Awajún indigenous people of the Amazon.
  
  Klein decides to help Jaguar Woman to rescue her poppy from the black market. Detective Matos in charge has to decide whether to enforce law or to make up for his mistakes 20 years ago.
