    • Synopsis
    • Ivy is the story of six ship crew members, who are trapped aboard a ship and not able to communicate with the outside world.
During the crossing to Egypt, the ship-owners goes bankrupt and as long as the debt has not been repaid, the lien on the ship persists. The ship is taken to the anchorage area and due to sea safety regulations the least amount of crew members has to stay on board. The ones who need the money most volunteer to stay aboard. During their 120 days of bondage, they suffer hunger and thirst, face isolation and day by day paranoia grows amongst them. They argue, divide into groups, transition from wanting to align with the captain to forming an opposition against him...and the ship turns into a hunting ground. Who will be the winner at the end of this struggle?
