- TARGET AUDIENCE: IN THE RED ZONE appeals to the broadest of audiences as it is culturally relevant with a huge focus on self-awareness, celebrity, fashion, social media, and sport. Tyler Perry Studios, TV One, BET+, OWN & Bounce TV would be logical homes.
  
  IN THE RED ZONE (ITRZ) is a poignant dramatic series about All Pro Atlanta Defender football star Kentrell Harvey’s (32) very public fall from grace - and his ultimate “personal” rise again – with the help of Giovani Costa (52) a league appointed clinical psychologist. After a life ban from the BFL for repeated arrests - and suspensions - Kentrell now finds himself without football for the first time in 25 years (since he was 7). For Kentrell, acceptance of this bleak reality is just not a part of his DNA and working with a professional psychologist assigned to him by the league is out of the question.
  
  Kentrell is offered a potential path back to the league – a lifeline if you will – but only if he participates in the newly formed “Life after Football” program, recently established by the BFL Players Union for retiring athletes with 10 years’ experience. In this program Kentrell would be required to make measurable behavioral improvements monitored by a professional clinical psychologist assigned to him by the league. Kentrell however wants nothing of it.
  
  IN THE RED ZONE is about a man who identifies only as a famous athlete, an identity now under attack. ITRZ is about a man challenged by another man - to be a better version of himself – no matter how disorienting.
  
  Kentrell’s journey takes place amongst the addicting and tantalizing backdrop of the Atlanta sport, fashion, and celebrity scene. Major locations for this show include Kentrell’s high rise condo, the club where he and his boys hang with regularity, his agent’s office, his fiancé’s fashion boutique, a hip local coffee shop and the dilapidated high school football field that birthed his early stardom and where he returns to find peace.
  
  The entirety of Season 1 takes place between March and August of the same year (the BFL offseason of 2023).
