- Synopsis
- Eastern Europe, our time. Sasha, a man of about 35, works at the bureau for manufacturing and installation of tombstones at the cemetery. Sasha has a lot of customers, each of whom experiences a personal tragedy – a death of the close person. However, it doesn’t touch Sasha – he is full of cynicism and irony to everything happening near him. The more so as even at the cemetery the life is going on. Here there is place for both humor, and love, and fight for power, and gang warfare, and mystics. And everything is going on well and steadily in Sasha’s life, until one day his fourteen-year-old daughter appears at the cemetery, who wants to return her father for herself by all means. Sasha does not welcome his daughter at all and tries to keep away from her.
  At the same time with his daughter, Elena–a young business lady (30), who has just buried her son, and Suvorov (80), a lonely old man, who has ordered a tombstone for himself, appear in Sasha’s life. Along side with these lines, a story of the struggle for power between the“eminence grise” of the cemetery Petrovych (50) and the new manager (45)–here Sasha becomes involved in to the serious property redistribution.
  And in this whirl, consisting of different human fates, personal tragedies, criminal clashes and scary mysteries, it gradually becomes clear that Sasha is in the permanent depression because of a severe psychological trauma that happened in his past. And his daughter is another reminding about a terrible loss that Sasha experienced once. His daughter, Suvorov, Elena, Petrovych, customers, colleagues with their tragic and some times comic stories–all this starts influencing Sasha and changing his life.
