    • Synopsis
    • Amidst the rolling hills of Kentucky, the world of competitive Ballroom Dancing thrives in all its bedazzled glory. Inside the ballroom however, no sequin is safe as nemeses – Alaina, the underdog, and dance royalty, Xavier – compete for the title: National Teen Dance Champion.

Rivals since childhood, their antics have only gotten worse in their angsty teens. Imagine how thrilled they are when they lose their partners and everyone else worth having is already teamed up. It’s either give up, or worse: partner up.

Giving up is not an option, since for Alaina that means dog duty at the struggling family kennel, and for Xavier that means disappointing his dance legend of a father, PAULO RAMIREZ, whose dying wish is to see his son carry on his legacy. So, partner they must. Clearly, they’re going to need professional help.

Enter Ukrainian dance legend, ALEC SMIRVONOVICH, who lets them tussle through Tango, whip through Waltz, and kick through Quickstep. With his coaching – Alaina and Xavier win the next qualifying tournament to compete for the title in Vegas – and with a kiss, realize they may be getting more than just a dance partner.

Sadly, our teens’ unexplored feelings stay just that as Xavier’s dad is hospitalized. When Alaina finds out about Paulo’s condition, she does what any extraordinary partner would do: finds someone to help. To her surprise, Xavier is furious! Alaina turned his dad into the one thing he never wanted to be: a charity case. Xavier severs the partnership immediately, replacing Alaina with the sexiest qualified candidate. Alaina is crushed...and angry...and doomed to wash dogs and scoop poop for the near future. Fortunately for Alaina, her former dance partner comes back into the picture. She’ll get to compete!

Thanks to Alaina’s healer, Paulo’s health begins to improve. Xavier’s gratitude outweighs his feelings of betrayal. He makes amends with Alaina. But on the morning of the competition, Xavier’s new partner throws a stiletto into the mix, leaving Alaina feeling duped. The dance must go on.

Will Alaina finally learn some rules were meant to be broken? Can Xavier put aside his ego and show his true nature? Cross your toes... there’s more than a title on the line.
