- Synopsis
- Aquí y Ahora is a Costa Rican drama set in San José. Lara is a young modern dancer who's insecure about her talent but lives for her craft. She falls in love with Ernesto, a charming, optimistic biologist who's absolutely attached to Costa Rica. They live an intense one of a kind love story. When she gets offered a full scholarship to join a dance company in Berlin, her life changes completely and her world as she knows it takes an unknown dimension. As her departure date approaches, Lara starts to understand that going to Berlin means to leave everything that makes her country a home. Her longtime friends, her grandmother who's one of the most important people in her life and it also means to give up on a love story. Suddenly, this professional ideal for which she has worked so hard, this longtime dream, becomes an internal conflict that turns her life upside down. To solve this dilemma, Lara is forced to reevaluate her priorities and understand herself in a way she's never done before.
