- Synopsis
- Historically Black Sellout U? is the story of a five-star high school football recruit, Tyson Threat, who has less than twenty-four hours to make the biggest decision of his life. To either sign with the top division one school in the nation, Sovereign State, or attend Garvey, a historically black college.
  
  Still mourning the loss of his mother, he’s pressured by his overbearing father, Melvin “Major” Threat and his girlfriend, Nneka to choose a black college and make a social justice stand against division one NCAA greed. Before Tyson can make his decision he discovers that his National Letter of Intent has been forged and sent to Garvey, an HBCU. With the clock ticking Tyson attempts to reverse the damage.
  
  This dilemma brings out buried family secrets, strained personal relationships, and a deadly interaction with a desperate stranger that could change Tyson's life forever.
