- Hazukashi dating show is an original, reality dating web show produced by HahaTai. In light of how most dating shows today feature highly attractive people with seemingly real but in fact scripted plots, HahaDating set its goal on producing genuine and diverse content. Without scripts and contrived arrangements, participants are given complete freedom over what they would like to say and how they would like to show their feelings. It is a simulation of real-life dates with the grounded ordinariness with which the many would resonate and without the sort of dazzling, too-good-to-be-true loveliness that never happens in real life. Also, to present more possibilities of love, the show pairs people of diverse gender identities and sexual orientations –a breakthrough from most dating shows that pair only straight people– who are also very much present in real life. The creators believe that by showing these people and their stories, they might inspire and open up new perspectives for the audience.
