- Synopsis
- The Guadalquivir is more than a river, it’s the course that joins three of the most important natural spaces in Spain: Cazorla, Sierra Morena and Doñana.
  The film shows life at the pace of the water; the landscapes of these three great areas during the different seasons. It starts in the autumn, at the Cazorla and Segura mountains, where the big river is born and the water falls off the boulders and cliffs; it’s the land of the golden eagle, the deer and the wild goat. In winter, we see the gentle and rough slopes of Sierra Morena; the landscapes of the cranes, black vulture and Iberian lynx. The journey downstream ends in Doñana, in the spring and the summer, where a dune barrier prevents the river from dissolving into the sea, the water overflows the marshes and biodiversity reaches its highest level in all of Europe.
  In this downstream documentary, the images and sounds of nature combine to offer a sensorial experience, an immersion into the natural enviroment through the senses.
