    • Synopsis
    • The Moreno family relocates from Mexico to Florida, facing new challenges. The eldest daughter, Gala, becomes fascinated with golf and, with her friend Frankie, sneaks into a nearby country club. Gala’s determination leads her to overcome racial barriers and even fight off an alligator to retrieve a discarded golf club.

      With the support of Lee, a public course worker, Gala balances school and her passion for golf. Despite initial setbacks and her father's concerns, she enters a country club tournament. The community rallies behind her, and Gala wins with a final putt using a putter made by her father, embodying the spirit of pursuing dreams and overcoming obstacles.
