    • Synopsis
    • It takes at least two people to stage a conflict. It is true that only one person could be enough, but those are problems psychoanalysis has to deal with, not film –which, fortunately, is a very different thing. The trident of directors + screenwriter in Vidrios seeks for an integral exploration of the micro-politics of conflict through a series of apparently polished but subtly rough vignettes, in which small groups of people (couples or threesomes) tense a situation until it blows out or, at least, becomes shattered. The way a glass will break is always a mystery, and that is the enigma that, fragment after fragment, holds the film together thanks to remarkable acting performances, especially in the episodes starring María Canale and Paula Grinszpan, Ailín Salas and Alberto Rojas Apel, and the splendid climax between Walter Jakob and Julián Tello.
