- Synopsis
- GIO sports short hair, adjusts a binder concealing his bust. The house is filled with notes. A thesis paragraph echoes, hindering progress. Changing poses before the mirror, nothing satisfies. A dinosaur greets him in the museum hall, bustling with kids seeking 'something out of place,' as their school guide puts it. Gio wishes he had extended the thesis deadline when he felt that out-of-place feeling within. His calling and social work are tied to this presentation, driving him to continue the transition and undergo mastectomy. Letters don't flow on the keyboard, and despite IGNACIO's (42), his thesis advisor, insistence, he loses himself in rocks displaying fragments of prehistoric insects and microorganisms.
  
  Amid testosterone injections, daily life reminds him of his past. In university, where he started teaching as a 'Plan B,' they insist on calling him Cristina Nunes. Even playing drums in 'Rochas Punk' provides no escape. While tracking wild mushrooms with his dog, he decides to join Ignacio's expedition for a breath of fresh air, secretly avoiding his grandmother's birthday, still unaware of his transition. Camping amidst mines and abandoned estates in the Santa Cruz steppe, the expedition reflects the tender gazes of those unaware of his past.
  
  Upon return, Gio brings a gift to his grandmother, who receives him with unwavering love. Faced with thesis deadline failures, he and Ignacio devise a plan. Gio continues teaching for social security and works in the museum hunting for unknown species in rocks, planning the thesis post-operation. Children camp in the museum, searching for messages among dinosaurs. This time, Giovanni leads the group; a child's flashlight illuminates his face, conveying fulfillment.
