- Synopsis
- PARK RANGER PABLO SILVA arrives at his new place of work, Pereyra Iraola Park, on a hot summer
  morning. Pereyra is a strange place: nestled in the south of the greater metropolitan area
  of Buenos Aires, it is half a weekend leisure park and half biosphere reserve. An untamed
  territory in the city.
  
  Pablo meets his work mates. CAMILA MARQUEZ prepares a place in the barracks for him. JUAN
  LEGUIZAMON from Land Affairs tells him the rules and regulations of the park. Mariano Varon
  brings him around to learn the roads and paths. He adapts to the new routine easily,
  resolving problems better than any other park ranger. He enjoys using his authority.
  
  Camila and he share a working relationship and an intimate one. She has an edge to her and
  despite her having a deformity in one leg, Pablo finds her attractive. Shortly after
  meeting, they become lovers and confidants. He feels sure of himself with her. He tells her
  about his old run-ins with the law, the reason that he moved to work at the park. Bit by
  bit, Pablo gets an idea for a new opportunity. One day, during his morning walk, Pablo finds
  a wounded fox in a cage. He puts it in a van and takes it to an old, abandoned military
  barracks. He cures and feeds the animal, and begins to feel a connection to it. He knows he
  is not doing the right things, but decides anyway, without fully knowing why, to take care
  of it in secret.
  He follows the clues that are hidden behind the cage. The trail leads him to a band of
  poachers operating in the park and he guesses that they have an accomplice among the staff,
  but he does not know who it is. Pablo becomes standoffish and untrusting.
  
  He distances himself from Camila and the rest of the park staff. The fox gets better, but
  Pablo is not able to calm himself. There is something instinctive that he cannot control. He
  has decided to move forward with his investigation. And so he becomes a secret hunter of
  hunters; his intentions, however, are not so clear. Is he gathering evidence to make a case,
  or is it just information for himself? Slowly, the old Pablo Silva begins to appear until
  unleashing itself in a battle of conflicting interests and a fight for survival.
