    • Synopsis
    • Tahiti... this name immediately suggests an ideal location. The reality does not deceive. The landscapes and the gentle way of life live up to the myth conveyed by the first European explorers and relayed by many sailors, writers and artists such as Bougainville, Loti, or Gauguin.

From the Sun, sounds like a postcard and allows us to discover the heritage of French Polynesia from the sky, through a tour of the archipelagos. No documentary presenting the history, the geology and the richness of the Polynesian culture has ever been made in this way. We offer a journey into the essence of Polynesian civilization.
This three-part series explores five island groups with different characteristics. The first episode covers the Windward Islands and focuses on three of its jewels: Tahiti, Moorea and Tetiaroa. The second episode focuses on the raromatai, the Leeward Islands, an archipelago that is home to the "Pearl of the Pacific", the mythical Bora Bora. The third and last episode features the most remote archipelagos of French Polynesia: the Marquesas Islands, so well sung by Jacques Brel, the Tuamotus and the remote Austral Islands.
