- Synopsis
- Freedom is no Fear is a documentary feature film which portrays the historic action of black women, fighting for their rights in Brazil. The narrative’s conductor is the thought and sensitive and critical view of the brazilian activist and intellectual, Sueli Carneiro, an important symbol of the black feminist movement in the country.
  
  In a poetic and sensorial journey, the thought of Sueli is found with leaderships from past and present, and converges with the reinvention of the social imagery of afro-brazilian women. The film cross ground of living experiences and memories, reminding experiences of black women that deploy forces and strategies in the fight for freedom.
  
  The musings of Sueli Carneiro threads together women’s voices that are soundalike, which are illustrated by poetical performances of Aqualtune, historic character and a symbol of black ancestral resistance.

- The film already has brazilian partnerships: a distribution company, California Filmes, and a company called Product Placement House, that helps integrate content and brands.
  
  The film already has about 40% of the fundings seccured by the goverment instituitions Ancine and Spcine.
