- Synopsis
- Mira, an underemployed Asian-American actress in New York, forms an unlikely bond with Vinh, a terminally ill man who mistakes her for his disappeared daughter, Sierra. As Mira juggles acting classes that verge on therapy, and unfulfilling gigs such as selling her likeness to an educational AI company, she struggles to inhabit the daughter role.
  
  When Mira gets immersed in the pretense, she begins to grapple with painful memories of her own father. As Vinh's health worsens, Sierra returns to confront Mira. As life and performance intertwine, and her subconscious rises to conscious, Mira begins to see the truth in her performance.
