- From franchise action writer, Richard Wenk, who wrote hugely successful action films such as Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer franchise, Tom Cruise’s Jack Reacher, and The Expendables 2, comes another thrilling, action-packed script led by Pierce Brosnan with some edge and wit.
  
  CHARLIE SWIFT (Brosnan) has worked for Orlando’s longtime mob boss STAN for 20 years as a hitman. They’re like family, father and son, sharing a love of cooking Italian food. Charlie is an efficient and fast hitman – and somewhat cocky. He gets the job done very quickly; no mess, no trail, and no surprises.
  
  But today is the day when everything doesn’t go right for Charlie. Already beset with an unpredictable new partner, Charlie learns he must rely on his dead victim’s no-bullshit, most recently widowed ex-wife, MARCIE (currently being cast) for help, so he decides to disarm her by taking her out on a date, but turns out Charlie is the one disarmed. Later that night, Charlie discovers that Stan and his entire crew have been massacred – betrayed by one of their own at the direction of another mob.
  
  Boiling over with rage, and not knowing who to trust, except maybe Marcie, Charlie sets out on a warpath of vengeance through a spider-web of warring mobs and assassins, while also being hunted by another skilled assassin, that could cost him everything.
  
  But there’s a reason he’s called FAST CHARLIE. And it's going to be a wildly fun shoot 'em up ride.
