    • Synopsis
    • In 1950s Algeria, at the height of French colonial rule, Frantz Fanon — a brilliant psychiatrist from Martinique — takes up his post as head of department at the Blida psychiatric hospital. Confronted with the brutal realities of colonial domination, Fanon introduces radically humanist treatment methods that clash with the institution’s practices. In this charged and volatile environment, his medical ethics and political conscience become inseparable, setting him on a path that will change history.
