    • Synopsis
    • Dionisis is a stand-up comedian who
unconditionally loves his job and puts the greatest
effort into it, but the continuously increasing changes
on today's society bring him face to face with
performing struggles. This is a situation he refuses to
admit, but definitely affects the way his comedic
monologues work towards the audience. When this
problem becomes obvious enough to be ignored, he'll
be forced to deal with it. His girlfriend Xanthi,
becomes an unexpected teammate to this effort.
However, she also carries her own demons,
originating from her childhood and family
environment. She has chosen a different path though,
attempting to forget and avoiding to provoke the
"monsters" of her past, while feeling guilty for her
      role in their creation.
A comedy rehearsal night at home brings these two
different approaches to conflict. Dionisi's monologues
provoke Xanthi's guilt and her interventions reveal
the fear he's choosing to ignore. Trapped inside the
same space, they are quickly led to recognize their
fear, but fail to use their long developed defences.
And when the defences fall, the feelings they share
will help them defeat the fear, just by deconstructing
      it.
