- Synopsis
- Those who see Emilio, 24, a black man living in the southern zone of São Paulo, working in a call center, couldn't imagine that he performs as the drag queen Sahara Diamante at the Long Night nightclub, where the LGBTQIA+ community meets. Despite being an attentive and caring character, surrounded by friends, Emilio completely transforms when threatened by the violence that hunts people like him through the city streets. He often counterattacks by beating people up and is always in the middle of a fight. Raised alone by his mother, the seamstress Rosa, he realizes that his violent temper may come from his father, the boxing coach Cezão, whom he hasn’t met yet. In a story where two universes come closer, Emilio has the opportunity to put together the best of them both, becoming the “true boxer ballerina” in such a hostile and harsh city, where he has to fight for the right to dance.
