- Synopsis
- The film takes place in Peru during the 1980’s.
  
  LESLIE BAXTER is an American journalist that works as a foreign correspondent for an American television network. He has been stationed in Lima, Peru, for more than fifteen years, and during this time has worked as a freelancer for other American networks.
  
  With him, work a pair of young and talented Peruvian journalists, a female reporter by the name of LAURA COSTER,and the cameraman EDUARDO PINEDA.
  
  BAXTER sends LAURA and EDUARDO to investigate an unconfirmed lead of a massacre that occurred in a small indigenous village located deep in the Peruvian Andes.
  
  Days later, BAXTER loses all contact with his team and starts to worry that something might have gone terribly wrong.
  
  During this time, JIMENA LOSADA, a Peruvian journalist stationed in the United States for more than 20 years, as well as an old friend and former lover of BAXTER, is sent by her station to Peru to cooperate in the investigation of the missing journalists.
  
  Prior to their disappearance, LAURA and EDUARDO had sent an enigmatic video to BAXTER. A video that the two foreign journalists will try to decipher, to little avail, only after the disappearances.
  
  One of them will discover the key: The video is a riddle that hides precise information on the reasons behind the disappearance of the two journalists.
  
  In their search for the truth, BAXTER, and JIMENA will discover powerful covert criminal networks that they will have to face once they decide to broadcast the truth through mass media.
  
  At the end of this journey, the lives of the two journalists will be forever changed.
