- Synopsis
- In a Florida town, a legendary alligator-human hybrid called the Crocodylus is loose. Private investigator Harry Bates, initially skeptical, is intrigued when Allie Glades hires him to find her missing brother, who disappeared during previous alligator attacks linked to a secretive lab.
  One night, Harry encounters his friend Rex, now the town's police chief, who reacts oddly when Harry mentions Allie's case. While investigating a disturbance by the lake, they rescue a frightened jogger and discover a Crocodylus footprint, sparking Harry's curiosity. Unable to reach Allie by phone, he visits her house and finds it in disarray. Concerned for her safety, Harry invites her to stay at his office.
  En route to his office, they spot a van from the secretive lab where her brother worked. They follow it to an abandoned warehouse and find scientists, led by Dr. Cash Williams, attending to a freezing chamber. Rex arrives and accuses Williams of releasing the Crocodylus. Harry and Allie create a distraction to lure the two men away and release it thinking that it was Allie's brother, Mark. The Crocodylus attacks, leading to chaos and Allie getting scratched.Harry takes her to his place and bandages her up and they start kissing and make love.
  Back in the lab, only Dr. Williams and Rex survive, but Rex lost a hand in the battle. Williams equips Rex with a switchblade arm, and they go out and find the beast, saving a sunbathing couple. Rex loses another hand in the battle, later replaced with a hammer.
  Meanwhile, Harry and Allie are together, but Allie suddenly transforms into a Crocodylus monster, still wearing lingerie. Harry narrowly escapes and informs Rex and Williams that there are now two monsters. Williams explains that she will be extra difficult to take down because it is ‘gator mating season. Harry reveals that he had sex with Allie but that he wants out of the case and leaves, much to the other men's protests.
  Rex and Williams go after the beasts and are losing when Harry returns, armed with oranges and defeats the male crocodylus. Harry reasoned that citrus was there weakness because of several times that Allie refused anything with citrus. Williams uses an experimental formula on Allie and the team is able to transform her back into human form. Allie sneaks off and hides one remaining egg that she laid while she was the Crocodylus and rides off into the sunrise with Harry.
