- Synopsis
- Cool Kids don’t Cry” tells the story of Akki, a spirited young girl, who loves soccer, even when her classmate, Joep, thinks soccer is not meant for girls. When Akkie is diagnosed with leukemia, Akkie remains optimistic. She even continues interfering with the school soccer tournament while she is lying in the hospital. When Akkie’s health deteriorates so much she is no longer able to participate in the tournament, Joep comes up with a really special plan.
