- Synopsis
- Li Zhenmu (played by Simon Yam), a former master forger, becomes ensnared in a plot by a gang of art thieves to repair an ancient painting. First, they send sexy temptress Min Yue to seduce Li Zhenmu, but he realizes she's after more than just his heart. The reappearance of his long-lost daughter only complicates matters, as she becomes a pawn and player in this deadly game to force her father out of retirement and back into the career he's forsaken.
  The priceless painting in question is based on a Tang Dynasty legend. When the art thieves made plans to steal it, they thought they had the perfect crime. But one small mistake leads to more careful plans and more mistakes. What went wrong? Where did the painting come from? Can the gang hold itself together long enough to complete their master stroke? And who is the mysterious figure behind the plans? And what about Li Zhenmu? As the art thieves close in, and his daughter's life enters the equation, this former master criminal is forced back into his old profession, and he starts to make plans of his own. The reason the art thieves sought him out may turn out to be their most critical mistake – he's the best at what he does.
