    • Synopsis
    • Martial arts champion Osvaldas (33) seriously injures a girl in the street and is expelled from the
sports federation. Not being able to travel and participate in tournaments in China, where he is
famous, Osvaldas is forced to stay in his dark and desolate hometown city in East Europe.
Reminiscing of his achievements in the Far East, Osvaldas spends his days in a cheap “China
Sea” restaurant, where the owner Ju-Long gambles without restraint and secretly engages in
human trafficking business with local criminals. Lonely and in search for ways to feel adored,
Osvaldas takes a job as a teenage martial arts coach and decides to fall in love. He keeps
obsessively pursuing a mysterious woman Skaiste, ignoring the fact that she is a mistress of a
criminal gang’s leader. Tormented with the idea to save her, Osvaldas gets more and more
entangled into the world of crime. ‘In the name of love’, his violent nature starts unfolding yet
again, endangering sincere but fragile relationships that Osvaldas cherishes.
