    • For this years’ online Channel 4 interview we are very pleased to welcome rising star and South London native, Yinka Bokinni: DJ, radio presenter and blogger. As a key presenter on Capital XTRA, and before this Rinse FM, Yinka has become an influential voice across the UK hip-hop, grime and R&B scene, building up a loyal fan base on both stations and beyond.

Yinka first delved into the world of documentary making in 2018, fronting films exploring the world of revenge porn and music and mental health. She has now collaborated with talented, emerging film director Ashley-Francis Roy and independent production company ACME Films to front a new film for Channel 4 Damilola: The Boy Next Door (w/t) exploring the high profile murder of 10 year old Damilola Taylor in 2000, Yinka’s own childhood friendship with Damilola, and the effect of his murder on both herself and the wider Peckham community.

In conversation with journalist and presenter Vick Hope, Yinka talks about the making of the new documentary and her wider career in the media.
