- Synopsis
- Sandra is a single, 38-year-old woman, from an upper-middle social class who works in a publishing house in Barcelona. She is going through a bad time in life, feeling that uncomfortable rush of her biological clock.
  One afternoon, despite Sandra's apparent scepticism, a card reader reveals to her that the man of her dreams is from France. Secretly, from that moment on, Sandra cannot avoid being aware of everything that surrounds her, searching for the “French” clue and the accent from the neighbouring country.
  This is how Sandra will begin a journey of confusion and delirium with the French men who will cross her path: A client with whom she often talks on the phone, a colleague of her friend Didier; a friend of a friend... One evening, Sandra falls into the arms of Miquel, a dyed-in-the-wool Catalan, by whose drunken state she mistakes for being French. After waking up at his home the following morning, Sandra realises her mistake, and, horrified, can only think of leaving the place immediately and forgetting all about the encounter.
  After overcoming some difficulties, Sandra leaves behind her prejudices and her French search and happily begins a relationship with Miquel. Although a final surprise awaits Sandra when she meets Miquel's mother: her strong “French” accent!
