    • Synopsis

    • Pregnant photographer Peta is cornered into joining a
      New Year’s Eve boat trip up Queensland’s remote river
      system, organized by her overconfident cousin Derek.
      Intended as a last-ditch effort to impress American
      influencer Rafael and secure backing for their struggling craft beer brand, the celebratory boat cruise quickly descends into chaos.
      With Peta’s boyfriend Jakob reluctantly at the helm, and Derek’s girlfriend Katie and daughter Beth along for the ride, tensions rise as reckless decisions and hidden
      agendas surface. After an explosion leaves the group
      stranded on a treacherous river, they face not only rising tides but the relentless menace of a bull shark
      fiercely guarding its birthing territory.
      As the group’s bonds fray and survival grows
      increasingly uncertain, Peta must battle the lurking
      predator, the harsh landscape, and the metaphorical
      monsters within their ranks. Driven by the instinct to
      protect her unborn child, she uncovers her own strength in this visceral thriller of survival, betrayal, and the primal fight for life.
