    • Synopsis
    • Summer 1978. Aimless thirty-something New Yorker Ted (Logan Marshall-Green; "The Invitation," "Spider-man: Homecoming") moves back home after learning of the failing health of his father Marty (Golden Globe® winner David Duchovny; "Californication"). The browbeating absentee guardian of his youth is living to make up for lost time, but nothing can ever be quite so simple. Together with Mariana (Stephanie Beatriz; "In the Heights," "Encanto") – Marty's Nuyorican grief counselor – they form a scrappy trio of outcasts making overdue connections and taking a chance on love. An ode to the bond between father and son, this warm and witty story demonstrates how life truly belongs to the losers, and that the longshots are the ones worth betting on.
