    • Leonor Reyes was the only Filipino woman who wrote action films in the ‘80s. Now, 72 years old, she lives in a cluttered apartment with her son, Rudie, who has plans of migrating to join his boyfriend. After a heated argument with Rudie, and a visit from her dead son, Ronwaldo, Leonor eyes an ad in the newspaper: Isapelikula - turn your words into movies —and decides to write again. About to complete her long unfinished script, a television falls on Leonor’s head, causing her to fall into a coma. While confined in the hospital, she is transported into the film that is playing on the television. Leonor wakes up inside the world of a classic macho 1980s Filipino action flick, featuring her dead son Ronwaldo, whose sudden disappearance propels her to become the self-sacrificing hero of the film. At this point, Leonor’s body vanishes into thin air, and the lines between her action fantasy and unforgiving reality are blurred.
