- Synopsis
- Teppei Kuroda was ready to start his brand new life in high school after dying his hair brown and parting with his old life of middle school where he played baseball. However, his dreamy future is quickly shattered when he checks out their high school baseball team practice just out of curiosity. He gets pulled right back into playing baseball again. What awaits him is getting his hair buzzed off at a welcome ceremony for first-years, a lot of field maintenance with their seniors yelling at them, and very little actual baseball practice. What’s worse, a girl he falls in love with at first sight happens to be the sister of his senior in baseball club, meaning it’s a death penalty if he ever lays his finger on her. At the top of the team hierarchy sits their coach, who is infamous for his crazy looks and actions, and feared even by third-year club members. Kuroda and his peers help each other in a healthy rivalry in their average-level team as they survive their high school baseball club life. But by the time they become second-years, they find themselves caught up in the same crazy traditions they hated as first-years…
