    • Synopsis
    • German politician Aune Hartman travels to South America where she wants to help indigenous people, she writes ecological stories and falls in love with a married musician. She is looking for a new life, but doesn’t understand the local culture and specifically the impact of living a liberal European lifestyle in a conservative Peruvian community.

      She finds it difficult to get her projects going because of the backlash against her lifestyle. Aune is eventually forced to flee to neighboring Bolivia with her lover, but things get dramatically worse when her partner gets too ambitious and turns against her.

      Her family and friends in Germany lose contact with her, become concerned and eventually travel to Peru in an effort to find her.
