- From the dark side of Stan Lee’s Universe comes Werewolf, not your typical superhero. Nelson was your typical brilliant super geek, who experienced all the negative attention one might get. Anger and resentment is already bubbling below the surface when it boils over in a road rage incident with a gang of car thieves, causing the death of his younger brother. Later, Nelson exists in a constant state of fear that his anger will once again re-emerge. Nelson dedicates his life to finding a cure for “anger”. Through experiments to control his anger, he accidently is injected with a serum derived from that of a Werewolf. All that Nelson has worked for to control his anger is now unleashed in a hellish nightmare. With the powers of a Werewolf, Nelson must overcome his uncontrollable rage or become what he fears the most. With the help of a natural manifested Werewolf, Anders, who sees the potential devastation that Nelson could cause, bringing their existence to light, he mentors Nelson. Progress is made and control is achieved until the dark once again engulfs Nelson when he realizes that the gang that was responsible for his brother’s death have risen, touting similar powers that he has. Will his anger be unleashed, or will he become the true superhero he needs to be, because sometimes you need to fight fire with fire!
