- Synopsis
- One night in a cold village in the Colombian Andes, 25-year-old Robinson returns from the dead. Soon, his mission to repeat a message becomes apparent. His presence revolutionizes the village. For many, his return becomes a cause for celebration. The doctor gives his diagnosis: he is dead. A horde of fanatics searches for Robinson, the zombie, claiming his evil nature and demanding that he be buried. The police, fearing public disorder, take Robinson to jail; he is soon released and, subsequently, is kidnapped, pursued, and buried. After his repeated and stubborn returns, his mother, his girlfriend, and his sister flee with him in the middle of the night. His family does not understand the purpose of this renewal of pain. At some point between tense escapes, Robinson becomes a silent confidant, his empty eyes hinting at forgiveness. Dawn breaks, a little over a day has passed, Robinson's corpse remains motionless, his family watches over him again, facing his death once more.
