    • Synopsis
    • MILA, an eleven-year-old girl, and her family face the last days of life before the end of the world. Ten months earlier, a meteor that was headed towards earth was discovered, leaving no chances of survival. From then on, the Verdi family, formed by ALÍCIA (45), Mila’s mum;
      GABRIEL (71), Mila’s granddad, and ÍNGRID (16), Mila’s older sister, try to live as calmly as they can the time they have left. They live in a country house far away from big cities, which allows them to somehow achieve it.
      The film begins five days before the end of the world, when the idea of holding a party to spend the last moments together is brought up. To Mila, this becomes something to hold on to, a way to celebrate life before
      it is all over. So from that moment on, she works to make it happen. However, during these five days, the harsh reality of facing death profoundly alters their family dynamic and, as a result, the party’s plan.
      During these days, Mila lives her own path to understanding the meaning of death. This process is affected by the different ways in which her relatives manage the situation, especially Íngrid, Mila’s role model. Íngrid feels the strong need to enjoy every minute of life with her friends, even if that means staying away from her family.
      As days go by, Mila becomes more introspective and develops a special relationship with the forest, a place where she spends a lot of time alone. There, the meaning of death takes a deeper dimension. She needs love and comfort, but her family can not give it to her because they are all dealing with grief in their own ways. Because of that, the distance between each member of the family grows deeper and conflict appears.
      All these feelings bottled up inside Mila end up exploding on the morning of the last day of life, when a sudden outburst of rage breaks the family's plans to live their last moments together and in peace.
