    • Synopsis
    • This film tells the true story of a very special clairvoyant, little Sofia, who passionately defends her "gift" to see the undead. Despite her mother's ignorance of transcendental world, Sofia manages to stand in her own power and embark on a life-long journey of healing undead souls. 49 years after a painful childhood full of misunderstanding, Sofia wants to leave a legacy to the world of acceptance and peace. As an adult, Sofia becomes a holistic doctor of the soul. Through her work, she meets a 6 year old client named Annie and together, they share two amazing and parallel stories. Like Sofia, 6 year old Annie is also clairvoyant and it has caused turmoil within her family. Annie confides in Sofia about her dead friend, a lost Irish boy named Andrew Mac Dugal, who was murdered in New York City
      in 1878. Annie needs Sofia's help to reunite Andrew with his mother. Sofia agrees to show Annie the secrets of healing souls to find freedom. 49 years after it happened, Sofia is brought back to the uncovering of her own family's secrets kept since WW2. In helping Andrew, Sofia and Annie bring healing to each other's lives. We want "49 Years After" to share Sofia's legacy to the world of peace, acceptance and understanding of those who are different than ourselves. This story is about the value of all of our uniqueness.
