THE MOB FILM COMPANY
Description
The Mob Film Company was started in April 1998 and has become a thriving producer of commercials, TV programmes and feature films. Its feature films to date include "One More Kiss" starring Gerard Butler, "The Virgin of Liverpool" starring Imelda Staunton and "Scenes Of A Sexual Nature" starring Ewan McGregor. In the last two years the Mob has completed $35m of production including "Hogfather", the highest rated TV mini-series in UK non-network history, the TV mini-series "Colour Of Magic" starring Sean Astin and "Stone Of Destiny", a UK/Canadian film co-production with Infinity Features and starring Charlie Cox. The Mob has established co-production relationships with Gold Circle Films (US), Brightlight Pictures (Can), Infinity Features (Can) and Senator Entertainment (Ger).
Objective
To act as UK co-producer and/or servicing producer on films budgeted up to $30m which need to shoot in the UK in the most cost effective way possible with emphasis on maximisation of tax credits and boutique equity investment.
